Ok so, i have a few synonyms to chose from:

advocate, champion, companion, converter, follower, herald, messenger, missionary, pioneer, propagandist, proponent, proselytizer, witness

I think out of all of those I like... none of them. However, I am sure by now you know what i mean.

I brought the world of social media into an advertising agency and pretty much everybody's head exploded. I could explain it to you here, but i won't as it deserves more than a few sentences. I guess being a pretty hardcore nerd, i was using social media in its many incarnations every day without even really going out of my way. So it makes sense that, as with computers, i know pretty much everything there is to know about social media.

I mentioned just now an advertising agency. That is where I spent the last 7 years of my working life (and a lot of the time some of my life that was not meant to be spent working). That agency is George Patterson Y&R. I was there when it was George Patterson Bates, that is a long time ago. I'm now talking about it in the past tense as I no longer work there.

During that time i have kind of evolved into somewhat of an Network Admin/Social Media Adviser/Strategist. Working on things such as the latest Kraft "New Vegemite" social media campaign, if you can call it that (legal urrgh).
